Jaipur, Sep 19 (PTI) Three members of a family were killed when their motorcycle was hit head-on by a speeding car on the Bhilwara-Kota National Highway in Rajasthan’s Bhilwara district, police said on Saturday.
The accident occurred near Nayagaon on Friday, they said.
The deceased were identified as Bhagwan Bagaria (67), his wife Deu Bagaria (53) and their son Ratan Bagaria (24), SHO Jai Sultan Singh said.
According to the police, the three were travelling towards Mandalgarh when their motorcycle collided with a Delhi-registered car.
The impact was so severe that the three motorcycle riders were thrown onto the car’s windscreen and suffered critical injuries to their heads and other parts of the body. They died on the spot, police said.
Following the accident, the car driver abandoned the vehicle and fled from the scene. Police have seized the car and launched a search for the driver.
The bodies were taken to the mortuary at the Bigod Community Health Centre, they said. PTI AG MPL MPL
