New Delhi: Delhi court Tuesday extended the interim bail granted to businessman Amit Katyal, an alleged close associate of former Union Minister Lalu Prasad’s family, till March 12 in connection with the land-for-job scam case.
The Delhi High Court had earlier refused to extend the bail, but on Friday it sought the respondent’s response on a plea moved by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) against the interim bail granted to him.The ED had challenged the order on ED’s appeal.
The Rouse Avenue Court in Delhi has adjourned the hearing on Katyal’s application for an extension of interim bail on medical grounds until March 12.The court had earlier granted interim bail to Katyal on a plea filed by the ED against him in connection with the alleged land-for-jobs scam case.
