New Delhi: Doordarshan Kisan is all set to launch its first government television channel on May 26, 2024. ‘DD Kisan’, was established by the government of India in 2015. The announcement was made on 24 May, 2024.
According to the information given, the channel will provide an autographed voice of two AI anchors named ‘AI Krish’ and ‘AI Bhoomi’. It is being told that these AI anchors can speak in about fifty different languages.
According to the objectives of ‘Doordarshan Kisan’, the channel will provide farmers with information about agriculture research, trends in agriculture mandis, weather changes, and other government schemes. The channel will reach farmers from all the states of the country.
DD Kisan is the only government television channel in the country which is dedicated to farmers. The channel has been running continuously for the past nine years. The launch of ‘DD Kisan’ is a significant step for the country’s agricultural sector.
The channel will provide farmers with real-time information and enable them to take better decisions on time. This is a step that will strengthen the three-dimensional concept of agriculture.
