Amaravati, May 5 (PTI) Andhra Pradesh CM N Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday unveiled the NABARD credit plan for FY27, with an outlay of over Rs 5 lakh crore.
NABARD has devised the credit plan, which marks a 20 per cent increase from Rs 4.2 lakh crore in 2025–26 to Rs 5.11 lakh crore.
“Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu unveiled the NABARD credit plan state focus paper. For 2026–27, NABARD has prepared the credit plan with estimates of up to Rs 5.11 lakh crore,” a press release said.
With a major focus on priority sectors, the plan allocates Rs 2.5 lakh crore to agriculture, including Rs 1.6 lakh crore for crop loans.
Likewise, the credit plan earmarks nearly Rs 35,000 crore for animal husbandry, Rs 8,285 crore for farm mechanisation, Rs 21,000 crore for fisheries, and Rs 12,000 crore for horticulture.
Of the horticulture allocation, Rs 5,313 crore has been specifically designated for the Rayalaseema region and Prakasam district, the press release said.
Additionally, Rs 9,957 crore has been allocated for agricultural infrastructure and Rs 12,687 crore for allied activities.
The plan also provides Rs 1.64 lakh crore in credit support to MSMEs. PTI STH SSK
