Shimla, May 4 (PTI) Senior BJP leader and State Vice-President Vipin Parmar on Monday hailed the party’s victory in West Bengal, Assam and Puducherry and said that the people of West Bengal have given a decisive mandate against corruption, violence, unemployment, and misgovernance.

He said this during the celebrations at the party’s headquarters in Chakkar, Shimla, where party workers gathered to celebrate the historic mandate in the two states and one Union Territory.

The party leaders termed the victories as a decisive endorsement of development, nationalism, and good governance under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Congratulating Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Parmar said that the results reflect the unwavering trust of the people in the BJP’s governance model.

“This victory is not just an electoral success, but a clear endorsement of the BJP’s ideology and the people’s faith in PM Modi’s leadership. The people of India have once again chosen governance over appeasement and performance over propaganda,” Parmar said.

Highlighting the key factors behind the BJP’s success, especially in West Bengal, he said that there was a strong anti-incumbency wave after 15 years of rule and there was also public anger against corruption, crime, and unemployment.

“Our improved strategy, strong narrative, and organisational strength at the grassroots level have translated into electoral success,” Parmar added.

In another celebration held at CTO in Shimla, BJP State Vice President and MLA Vinod Kumar said that the momentum for change was visible even before the elections.

“The streets of Bengal had already turned saffron, which is the colour of trust, transformation, and hope. This victory is a reflection of people’s anger against years of misgovernance and their aspiration for a new era of development,” he said. PTI COR SHS SHS
