Andhra Pradesh State Disaster Management Authority (APSDMA) managing director Prakhar Jain said this while speaking to PTI.

He said the incident occurred around 9 pm on Wednesday when the boy was going out.

Jain also said that the weather is more or less calm across the state and that around 90 per cent of blocked roads and snapped power lines were restored. The restoration work will continue on Thursday, he added.
