Chamavaram (Andhra Pradesh), June 1 (PTI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Monday disbursed monthly welfare pensions to elderly people, widows and specially-abled persons here in Kakinada district.
Across the state, the TDP-led government is disbursing welfare pensions worth Rs 2,729 crore to 62.3 lakh beneficiaries, said an official press release.
“Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu participated in Pedala Sevalo (in the service of the poor) programme at Chamavaram in Tuni constituency. The CM disbursed NTR Bharosa (welfare) pensions to old people, widows and specially-abled persons,” it said.
On the first day of every month, the CM is participating in ‘Pedala Sevalo’ programme to disburse pensions, while the southern state has disbursed Rs 65,887 crore as pensions since July 2024, the release added. PTI STH ROH
