Bengaluru, Sep 20 (PTI) A 46-year-old man was found dead inside a luxury car parked on a main road in the Koramangala area on Sunday morning, police said.
The deceased was identified as Salim Akbar, a native of Kodagu.
Police were alerted at around 8 am about a luxury car parked on the road with a man inside. A police team reached the spot and found the man unresponsive.
He was taken to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him dead. His body has been shifted for an autopsy.
According to a preliminary investigation and CCTV footage, the car pulled over in front of a restaurant in the area at around 2.30 am, police said, adding that they suspect he may have died due to health issues.
However, the exact cause of death will be established after the forensic and autopsy reports, they said, adding that no foul play is suspected at this stage.
Scene-of-crime officers and forensic investigators examined the car.
