3 killed, one injured in clash between two groups in Bihar’s Saran; 6 detained

Saran (Bihar), Oct 4 (PTI) Three people were stabbed to death, and another was injured following a clash between two groups in Bihar’s Saran district, police said on Sunday.

The incident took place in Parsa village in the Ekma police station area on Saturday night, they said.

The deceased have been identified as Mukesh Yadav, Ravish Yadav and Anku Kumar, while the injured person is Vivek Kumar, they added

“One person died on the spot, while two others succumbed to their injuries during treatment. The injured is undergoing treatment at a government hospital,” Saran Senior Superintendent of Police Roshan Kumar told PTI.

The exact cause of the clash is yet to be ascertained, he said, adding that six people had been detained for questioning.

“A case has been registered, and further investigation is underway. The bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination,” the SSP said.
