New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed BJP workers at a celebration programme organised at the party headquarters in the capital Wednesday, after its win, alongside its allies in the Bihar assembly elections, and on its own in several state bypolls.

Addressing workers, PM Modi said family-run parties were the biggest threat to a democracy, in an indirect attack on the Congress and the Rashtriya Janata Dal. He also said the only mantra for his party’s victory was “sabka saath, sabka vikas, sabka vishwas“.

Modi said the results of Bihar assembly polls and other by-elections across the country have made it clear that people only support those who work honestly for development.
