New Delhi: Images of US President-elect Donald Trump selling kheer on the streets of Pakistan are all over the internet—and it isn’t AI. It’s his doppelganger Salem Bagga.

53-year-old Bagga, a resident of Sahiwal, in Punjab is now a viral sensation. His videos show him singing Punjabi songs—and calling people to have his special Trump kheer.

It all started in 2021, when a video of Bagga selling kulfi on the streets of Sahiwal was posted online

The video was shared by Pakistan singer Shehzad Roy, who was curious about Bagga’s whereabouts and wowed by his singing skills. Social media users however were quick to notice his uncanny resemblance to Trump. Others told Roy that he is a regular on the streets of Sahiwal in central Punjab, Pakistan.

Trump and his VIP kheer

Three years later, he has swapped out his kulfi for kheer. Dressed in a salwar kameez and rocking his trademark blond quiff (a result of albinism), Bagga is a walking, singing, and pudding-serving spectacle.

He has now even capitalised on his looks and serves a ‘Donald Trump kheer’, Reuters reported.

“We feel like Trump has come here to sell kheer! When he sings, we can’t resist coming down to buy it,” One customer said.

And it’s not just the pudding that’s got them coming back for more. Bagga’s soulful renditions of traditional Punjabi songs have become a fan favorite.

In another video, he’s seen pushing his white coloured cart along the streets singing, “Made with khoya, made with butter, come have the VIP Donald Trump kheer”.

He has now invited Trump to come and try his delicacies.

Sahib, you won the election, now come visit me and eat my kheer!” he was reported saying.

Noting his rising popularity, an X user summed up the situation:Well, it seems like nature has a sense of humor, doesn’t it? Here’s Donald Trump, but make it kulfi! This Pakistani doppelgänger is proving that in the world of lookalikes, you can indeed have your cake (or in this case, ice cream) and eat it too.”

  1. I always knew it.
Donald Trump is a Pakistani. Pakistanis create problems wherever they go. In UK, they target underage white girls and subject them to gross sexual abuse.
