After the huge Pakistani turnout at Asia Cup T20 in Dubai a few weeks ago, it is now the turn of music fans of Ali Sethi, Faisal Kapadia and Coke Studio to rush to the country Friday to watch them live. It is Coke Studio’s first live concert outside Pakistan and the buzz is as big as a cricket match.

The lineup is bringing the biggest names of the season, assured to get fans to Dubai. From Karakoram, Young Stunners, Faisal Kapadia to Ali Sethi and Shae Gill, Coke Studio’s definitely out to be the talk of the town. Along with runaway hits such as Pasoori and Peeche Hutt from Season 14, Dubai venue will also host the insanely viral QuickStyle band of dancing men whose hit Kala chashma has enthralled millions of south Asians on Instsagram.

Producer Zulfiqar Jabbar Khan said Coke Studio is eyeing a global platform. The team believes that Pakistan’s artistic voice should transcend boundaries. In an interview with Instep he said, “We see Coke Studio as a language we speak to the world, the language of art from our part of the world, from Pakistan.” And when Coke Studio aims for the sky, they’re bound to reach for the stars- literally. Finessing to Kala Chashma and grooving to Kana Yari from Season 14 of Coke Studio, QuickStyle boasts of 2.4 million followers on Instagram.

Fans have taken to Twitter, excited than ever.

And the memes are aplenty. Even former Pakistan cricket captain Wasim Akram met with the Kala Chashma gang. The group has been buzzing with their live performances at the Burj Khalifa, Emirates Towers, and their viral dance performance to Peeche Hutt on YouTube, a collaboration with Coke Studio.

Coke Studio’s latest event has given way to some creative marketing campaigns too. Litso Tours and Events, a tour company based in Lahore, is offering economy packages from Pakistan to Dubai for the event. The four-night package deal guarantees a hotel’s stay, free entry to Coca Cola Arena, a dinner cruise and a Desert Safari.

Meanwhile, Coca-Cola Middle East is giving music fans the chance to win tickets to the show when they buy Coca-Cola special edition 330ml cans across the country.

Coke Studio’s reigning success is guaranteed to continue. Ali Sethi’s hit Pasoori, the first Pakistani song to appear on Spotify’s Viral 50 – Global and his entry into TIME Magazine’s Top 100 Next List 2022, have only made their brand bigger. Coke Studio has so far received more than four billion views online and over 12.7 million subscribers on YouTube.  With a large-scale global event like this, it is sure to cement their name in fame.
