New Delhi: When Netflix and JioHotstar announced a “Raw & Undekha” version of Dhurandhar 1, fans hoped for deleted scenes, extended action sequences, and perhaps a darker, uncensored edit. Unfortunately, all they got was “unmuted abuses.”
Fans, who streamed the film, pointed out that the runtime remains exactly the same as the earlier streaming version, 3 hours and 25 minutes, leading many to question what was actually “undekha (unseen)” about the release.
One user wrote, “#Dhurandhar Part 1 – RAW & UNCENSORED is now streaming on Netflix India – 205 minutes runtime.. no extra scenes but dialogues are unmuted now.”

Another posted, “Did they forget the “undekha” part of the raw and undekha? Why no extra scenes?”
One suggested it would’ve been better if they updated the existing title instead of teasing an improved version.
Another pointed out that though the abuses were unmuted, the word “Baloch is still muted when spoken by SP Aslam.”

Quality complaints
Apart from the content itself, several viewers also complained about JioHotstar’s streaming experience, especially the frequency of ads and the platform’s user interface.
When Dhurandhar first arrived on Netflix after its theatrical run, audiences noticed that the OTT version was shorter than the theatrical cut.
While the film originally ran for 3 hours and 34 minutes in cinemas, the streaming version was trimmed to 3 hours and 25 minutes. Then too, fans were upset with the makers for removing nearly nine minutes from the film.
The franchise’s sequel, Dhurandhar: The Revenge, is set for its India OTT premiere on JioHotstar on 5 June, with a special digital launch event scheduled for 4 June at 7 pm. Netflix has secured the international streaming rights for the film.
Unlike the first film’s “Raw & Undekha” release, the extended OTT version of Dhurandhar: The Revenge reportedly includes scenes that were either shortened or toned down in theatres.
JioHotstar reportedly acquired the sequel’s digital rights for Rs 150 crore, while the first film’s OTT rights were sold for Rs 85 crore.
