New Delhi: Richa Chadha has announced a new show where she will travel around Mumbai, visiting lesser-known places, meeting people, exploring markets, and discovering the city’s history. Musafiri is presented by her production house, Pushing Buttons Studios.
Chadha shared the show’s trailer on her Instagram Friday, giving a glimpse of her journey across different parts of Mumbai. “A show about people, places and above all pyaar..come fall in love with Mumbai again,” she wrote on Instagram.
The video shows glimpses of Chadha travelling by boat, walking through monuments, meeting local people, and exploring places away from the city’s more familiar landmarks. The series will explore Mumbai through conversations with cultural practitioners, historians, and experts.
“Maybe those of you who still care wondered what I have been up to. Well, apart from wrapping a show as an actor, I was working on this… But something new, made for YT,” Chadha added.

Musafiri is an eight-episode series and marks Chadha’s first non-fiction show as well as her first project on YouTube. The first season is set entirely in Mumbai.
The first episode will be released on 25 September, with a new episode every Friday on Phull Stop, the YouTube channel launched by Chadha and Ali Fazal.
Chadha also shared that she has written, hosted, voiced, and produced Musafiri under Pushing Buttons Studios. The show is directed by Ajitesh Sharma.
The first major production by Pushing Buttons was Girls Will Be Girls (2024), directed by Shuchi Talati. The film marked Talati’s feature directorial debut and premiered at the Sundance Film Festival, where it won the Audience Award in the World Cinema Dramatic section.
