New Delhi: United States President Donald Trump has sparked new speculation. This time, the speculation is over his hair, not a comment or a presidential decision.

Trump was photographed at the Morristown Municipal Airport with what appeared to be a more brunette look, rather than his signature blonde shaggy-do.

The new hairstyle soon had social media buzzing about the president’s choice of hair colour.

“Trump really woke up this morning and said: “Make America Brunette Again,’” posted an X user.

“If the hair colour is the scandal of the Labor Day weekend, enjoy it. Hair is not a policy—it’s a subplot. Bedminster brown. Moving on,” wrote another X user.

Major appearance change

Trump, who is known for his signature blonde style, was in New Jersey ahead of the weekend at his Bedminster golf club, Fox News reported. The new hair colour comes a few days after Trump’s statement on the allegation that the US president wears a wig.

In 2024, The Hill claimed that Trump wears a wig.

“I do not wear a wig. But that night, they found out I did not wear a wig because if you did, it was not going to be on your head very long,” Trump said Wednesday, addressing the longstanding rumours.

However, while in office, Trump has rarely made any changes to his appearance and style.

The US President was seen playing golf in a red hat that covered most of his hair.

Few users also started guessing the colour of his hair. Some said strawberry blonde, others ginger. But some remain unconvinced that despite the new hair colour it is in fact not a wig.

Trump’s surprise visit to Virginia Church in 2019 sparked controversy when he appeared in a slicked-back hairstyle. However, it did not remain for long.

Nine Years, Made Possible by Readers

In 2017, Shekhar Gupta started ThePrint with a simple belief: Indian readers want journalism that asks why and what next, not just what. And that enough of them would be willing to pay for good journalism.

Nine years on, that belief has held.

And, in these nine years, we’ve stayed true to our mission. We’ve been asking the follow-up questions, going beyond the headlines and explaining what’s actually happening. We’ve travelled across the country to bring you in-depth, visually-compelling stories from the ground.

It’s been nine years of readers choosing to make this possible. If you’d like to be one of them:
