New Delhi: Hunter Biden has taken X by storm. Over the past 24 hours, the son of former US President Joe Biden has posted about his past drug addiction, criminal record, and the problems of the American economy—in the same breath. His wry, humorous replies to critics quickly went viral, and people on X are now declaring him the Lisan al-Gaib.
“America has no future president rn, nobody wants vance or newsom, the average american has lost hope entirely,” wrote a user named Jack Duvall. His answer? Hunter Biden for 2028.
Biden’s biggest problem on X is when critics get his drugs wrong. He is quick to point out the difference between “crack” and “cocaine”, and tell Photoshop enthusiasts what a crack pipe looks like.
I know this may sound petty, but I can’t stand it when people put photoshop a meth pipe in my mouth. A crack pipe doesn’t have that little bowl at the end. This is why we can’t trust AI. Please make the appropriate edit. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Many on X welcome his candid posts.
“Hunter Biden getting sober and becoming an internet menace is somehow quite healing,” read a post on X.
Hunter Biden has been at the centre of several controversies surrounding his business dealings, history of substance abuse, and subsequent criminal charges. Now, he appears to be pulling off what some call “one of the most unlikely reinventions in politics”.
Hunter Biden’s appeal
When Biden returned to X on 19 May, he posted a bold declaration: “I’m Hunter Biden. You’ve never actually heard from me.” The tweet remains pinned to his profile.
His first few posts revolved around his sobriety journey, until on 4 June, he questioned US President Donald Trump’s absence from the public sphere.
“Trump hasn’t made a public appearance in 8 days. This after an unscheduled visit to the hospital- because he ‘likes getting check ups.’,” he wrote.
What followed was a barrage of posts and replies, where he quickly disarmed trolls and found common ground with his harshest critics. His ability to defuse opponents has now earned him the name ‘MAGA whisperer’.
Well I don’t. So you and I agree at least.

Biden’s latest post sums up his stance on US politics. In a long list, he talked about expensive groceries, endless wars, immigration, and Jeffrey Epstein.
“Things we’re told to fight about: Me. Laptop. Vaccines. Transgenders in sports. Pronouns. That’s the joke,” he wrote.
