(Reuters) – Short-lived Tropical Storm Gert, located about 455 miles (730 km) east-southeast of the Northern Leeward Islands, is quickly unraveling on Monday morning, the U.S. National Hurricane Center said in its latest advisory.

With maximum sustained winds of 40 miles per hour (65 km per hour), Gert is expected to become a remnant low later on Monday and dissipate on Tuesday.
