(Reuters) – Tropical Storm Kirk has strengthened into a hurricane, the U.S. National Hurricane Center said on Tuesday.
Hurricane Kirk was located about 1,070 miles (1,720 km) West of Cabo Verde Islands, with maximum sustained winds of 75 mph (120 kph), the Miami based forecaster said.
