New Delhi: PVR Inox Pictures will bring BTS’ world tour ‘ARIRANG’ to Indian cinemas with two special delayed live-viewing screenings across 38 cities. The screenings will also feature two performances, one from Buenos Aires and another from São Paulo.
The screenings will give BTS fans, known as ARMY, an opportunity to experience the group’s music and choreography on the big screen. ARIRANG is the sixth Korean-language and tenth overall studio album by South Korean boy band BTS. It is also the boy band’s first release after a four-year hiatus, during which each member had to complete their mandatory military service.
The Buenos Aires performance will be screened on Sunday, 25 October at 3:45 pm IST. Whereas the São Paulo performance will be shown on 31 October at the same time. Both screenings will be presented under the title “BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG’ – LIVE VIEWING (DELAYED)”.
PVR INOX has partnered with Trafalgar Releasing, which distributes concert films, live music events and other alternative content for audiences worldwide, to bring the screenings to India.
“The response to our earlier BTS screenings has shown us how deeply Indian fans value coming together for these experiences. They come not simply to watch, but to celebrate a connection shared by fellow fans. With these performances distributed in India by PVR INOX Pictures, we are delighted to bring that spirit back to our cinemas,” said Aamer Bijli, Lead Specialist – Innovation, Film Marketing, and Digital Programming, PVR INOX Limited, in a statement.
Bijli said that with screenings reaching audiences across 38 cities, they are bringing fans from different parts of the country together to share their love for BTS.
“Presenting two different tour stops gives fans across India another opportunity to come together through their shared love for BTS and experience the performances on the big screen,” he added.
Tickets can be booked through the PVR INOX app, the official website and partner ticketing platforms.
Earlier this year, a special concert at Busan in South Korea was live-streamed all across the world to mark the band’s 13th anniversary.
