New Delhi: Ananya Panday has been on a whirlwind global tour over the past ten days, going from the Bavarian Alps to New York before making it back to Mumbai in time for Ganpati Chaturthi.
Panday’s first stop was Schloss Elmau, a luxury spa nestled in the Germanic mountainside, where Amazon Prime Video brought together young actors and creators from India, Germany, Spain, France and Italy for the Obsessed Retreat: Class of ’26 on 7 and 8 September.
The two days included panels, screenings and author readings, but the group also spent a fair amount of time hanging out and making content together.
Panday, who was there for Call Me Bae season two, was seen with Maxton Hall’s Damian Hardung, The Love Hypothesis star Lili Reinhart and Spanish actors Ester Expósito and Pau Simon.
The retreat spilt onto Instagram, too, as actors and creators who usually work in entirely different geographies began turning up in each other’s posts.
On 12 September, she was at Arthur Ashe Stadium for the US Open women’s final, where Elena Rybakina beat Aryna Sabalenka to win the title.
Panday posted a picture with Off Campus actor Belmont Cameli, calling him the “best”. She also shared a selfie from the stands with the caption, “Time of my life.”
By 14 September, the 27-year-old actor was back home in Mumbai. She shared pictures from her family’s Ganpati celebrations with her family, including her parents Chunky Panday and Bhavana Pandey.
“Back home just in time for my fave to come home. Ganpati Bappa Morya,” she captioned the post.
Later that day, Panday headed to Antilia, the Ambani family’s Mumbai residence, for their Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations. The event was swarming with Bollywood celebs. Actors Salman Khan, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Vicky Kaushal, Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan were among the many famous faces to grace the event.
Reacting to Panday’s jam-packed week, fans across social media platforms are obsessing over her increased international appearances as well as her outfits.
“Ananya Panday is seen at more international Events than in India. Read somewhere that she is one of the famous names in fashion among bigger brands, and now she has her own series on Prime. Crazy things,” read an X post.
