Named ‘Project PRAGATI Centres’, these facilities will be platform-agnostic, catering to last-mile delivery personnel across various sectors, including food delivery, quick commerce, e-commerce, and logistics.
Under the agreement signed with the Cyberabad Municipal Corporation, Zepto will fund and maintain the five centres on an ongoing basis, the company said in a statement.
Each centre will provide an all-weather resting space, clean drinking water, sanitation facilities, first-aid support, mobile charging points, and Wi-Fi connectivity.
The centres will also host periodic health camps and facilitate awareness regarding e-Shram portal registration for eligible gig and unorganised Workers. PTI ANK TRB
