Chinese troops’ violent conduct has violated all mutually agreed norms, says Rajnath Singh

New Delhi: China has unilaterally violated bilateral agreements signed in 1993 and 1996, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said Tuesday. Addressing the Lok Sabha, during the monsoon session, Singh addressed the ongoing India-China border tensions and said that both nations have different perspectives on the Line of Actual Control (LAC), which led to the face-off.

Singh also reiterated that while a peaceful resolution, through disengagement, is a priority, India is prepared for every eventuality.
