Although the entire world sticks to the formulation, Kashmir is a disputed territory whose future should be settled by a peaceful dialogue between India and Pakistan, and in accordance with the wishes of the Kashmiri people, as a practical matter, they accept the status quo, with the LoC sacrosanct.
