Although the entire world sticks to the formulation, Kashmir is a disputed territory whose future should be settled by a peaceful dialogue between India and Pakistan, and in accordance with the wishes of the Kashmiri people, as a practical matter, they accept the status quo, with the LoC sacrosanct. What worries the international community, at some stage could also weigh on investor sentiment, is the possibility of war between the two countries. How this should be done is beyond my pay grade, but India and Pakistan have to work diligently to reduce the possible of a potentially nuclear conflict to much below where it now is.
