Indian voter or for that matter any voter can hardly be thoroughly analytical assessing various issues and then deciding whom to vote. More often than not, emotion at the material time plays a vital role. So I would not agree with the author here that single issues cannot decide voting/election results. We have seen a single issue like high onion prices having been enough for Delhi voters to throw the party in power in Delhi state!
The biggest problem about most Indian voters is they go on hearsay. Nationalism nd patriotism is a good bait to lure ignorant voters. Such voters don’t see the good work done by present government.
All people’s opinions and their votes must be valued and used for conclusions because everything must be legal and observed.
