Modi government’s new amendments to give the anti-paper leak law more teeth are a futile exercise. There’s already a cheating law in India to deal with paper leaks. Fast-track courts in the country have hardly been a deterrent. What’s required is foolproof prosecution and sincere implementation of the existing law.
