Parliamentary panel’s recommendation to explore soft postings for women to increase their intake in CAPFs is preposterous and retrograde. We need more women in the CAPF and they need to be on ground. Their main job is to handle situations like Manipur where we are short of women personnel now.
Opposition’s absence from discussion on Data Bill tells a lot about its conduct
The Data Protection Bill was passed in 50 minutes in the Lok Sabha. Just a handful of Opposition MPs participated in the debate. It speaks a lot about our opposition who talk big about the government not allowing them to speak but turn the other way when the opportunity arises.
