This wretched virus doesn’t love anybody’s God. It doesn’t stay out of anybody’s social life, wedding, funeral or partying. It doesn’t support anybody’s ideology or politics. It loves crowds. Farm protests are as much of a super-spreader as Kumbh, Eid shopping or an airplane wedding. Leaders should suspend it immediately.
Good to see CJI Ramana’s intervention in CBI chief selection process, usually a mere formality
CJI Justice N.V. Ramana’s intervention in the selection of the CBI chief is welcome. It won’t make the investigation agency less establishmentarian or politically neutral. But the CJI has lent credence to the appointment process that’s otherwise a mere formality. It’s heartening to see the CJI make his presence count.
