This is the question the surviving Cheetahs at Kuno National Park seem to ask us.

Under the ambitious ‘Project Cheetah’, total twenty Cheetahs were translocated from Namibia and South Africa. Till date, five adults and three cubs have died this year at Kuno National Park. Even the Supreme Court had asked the government to consider relocating the animals to the neighbouring state of Rajasthan.

Through my cartoon, I have tried to depict the pain and apprehension of these Big Cats .

We pray that the surviving Cheetahs namely, Nirva, Vayu, Agni, Gamini, Veera, Dheera, Prabhas, Pavak, Aasha, Pavan, Nabha, Gaurav, Shaurya and Dhatri have a long life ahead. Amen!
