India is a growing economy in the world currently it is the third largest economy in nominal GDP at PPP. According to the IMF INDIA is one of the “star performers” and contributes 16% to global growth. Its forex reserves also rose to $ 623 billion. Its space economy is going to reach $ 1 billion by 2025. Many economists say that the 21st century belongs to India. In today’s multipolar world India has the chance to become the superpower by the end of the 21st century. But to achieve this we need to address a few internal challenges that are in front of us.

1. Unemployment: INDIA’S economy is constantly growing but we are still not producing that many jobs that are required for the youth of our nation. Many economists say this as “JOBLESS GROWTH”. Where the economy is growing without a proportionate increase in job opportunity. In INDIA the condition of the government seeking aspirants is the worst of all time. The vacancy notification is not timely neither the conduction of paper nor the results came on time, Due to which lakhs of students who possess the skill to contribute in nation building their talent got wasted. Many of these unemployed youth are also involved in crime and illegal activities too. Government should plan something that can boost jobs in India. Although government has started the initiates like SKILL INDIA , STARTUP INDIA , MAKE IN INDIA but these efforts are not enough

2. Check on Growing population: According to census 2011 INDIA is growing at the rate of 17.7% in the last decade. If we couldn’t keep the check on our population then it would be very difficult to share the resources in the nation. Disparity may also increase lack of facilities to individuals. On the other hand according to census 2011 there were around 8.6% of the population composed of senior citizens. Which will reach 12.5% in 2025. So the family planning along with maintaining demographic dividend is very important

3. Inequality: Per capita Income of India is 170 thousand rupees but surely it hides disparity. According to the World Bank 10 % of the population of India lives on less than $ 2.15 a day. India has achieved economic growth but there is a lack of inclusive economic growth. Still there is a lack of medical, education, sanitation, and water facilities for many people. Many people are not able to get the benefits of government schemes. There is leakage in the system which the government needs to address Otherwise poor will become poorer and rich will become richer. Tolerance level of people is decreasing day by day. Violence on the basis of caste, religion, gender is increasing. Government must address these issues. Otherwise the poor will become poorer and the rich will become richer. There would be problem on the unity and fraternity of the nation

4. Balanced between 3 sectors of economy: Currently the service sector contributes 53% to GDP While industry 28.25% and Agriculture 18%. So we need to keep balance between these three sectors of the economy to boost the economic growth of individuals as well as nations.

5. Freebies: Indian people and government must understand there are differences in freebies and welfare schemes and freebies can have a very negative impact such as fiscal burden, dependency syndrome, resource misallocation.

India needs to address these above internal challenges to achieve and become the superpower in the world. And the people of our nation should also in collaboration with government should works to find solution of these problem as its is said “ kyoi v desh perfect nhi hota use perfect baana hota hai “. Government constantly trying to tackle these problems but one thing should be kept in mind that administration, policy making should be independent of politics, regional aspirations.
