(Reuters) – The World Health Organization said on Wednesday it has listed two additional mpox in-vitro diagnostic tests for emergency use.

Xpert Mpox, a real-time PCR test manufactured by Cepheid, was listed under the Emergency Use Listing (EUL) procedure on Oct. 25, WHO said.

The organization also listed another PCR-based option, the cobas MPXV assay developed by Roche Molecular Systems, on Oct. 14.
