New Delhi: As US celebrates Month of the Military Child, the White House has unveiled a new installation of The Military Children’s Corner at the White House, a White House press release stated.

The new installation features artwork created by ten military children and highlights their unique experiences of serving alongside their parents. The artwork, titled A View from My Window, was created by Addison, 14, of Joint Base Charleston, Ayslin, 15, of White Sands Missile Range, Elisabeth, 16, of Fort Leavenworth, and Elyse, 13, of Army Garrison Wiesbaden.

The Military Children’s Corner is a part of Dr. Jill Biden’s Joining Forces initiative, which supports military families, veterans, and caregivers. The initiative aims to elevate the voices of military youth and provide them with the resources, opportunities, and support they deserve. The Military Children’s Corner is located in the East Colonnade at the White House. The display case was designed to replicate the look and feel of bulletin boards commonly found in elementary schools, creating a welcoming and engaging space for visitors of all ages. The artwork on display features ten military children, including Ayslin, Elisabeth, and Elyse, who have created artwork inspired by their experiences as military-connected families.

The installation of The Military Children’s Corner reflects the diverse experiences of military children across the country and provides a platform for them to share their unique stories.
