TOKYO (Reuters) – Twelve people were killed and dozens injured in an explosion at a smelter furnace in Indonesia’s Morowali nickel industrial park, local media said on Sunday.

The blast on Sulawesi Island occurred during furnace maintenance at 5:30 a.m. (2130 GMT), the reports said.
