Kamala Harris to embark on US tour to highlight successes in small business, housing, health care sectors

New Delhi: The Vice President of the United States, Kamala Harris, has announced that she will embark on a nationwide economic opportunity tour to highlight the investments made by the Biden administration in the areas of small businesses, housing, and health care.

The tour will begin in Atlanta, Georgia, on April 29, and Harris will visit Detroit, Michigan, the following week. The details of the trip are still being planned, and additional locations and dates are expected to be announced soon.

The purpose of the tour is to showcase how the Biden administration’s economic policies have delivered results for the American people. The Vice President will highlight the record number of jobs created, the fastest creation of Black-owned small businesses in more than three decades, and the expansion of access to affordable housing, health care, and education.

She will also discuss the additional steps that the government will take to further stimulate the economy and create more opportunities for the American people. The tour is part of the Vice President’s efforts to promote economic opportunity and inclusion across the country.

The Economic Opportunity Tour is a testament to the Biden administration’s commitment to building a stronger and more inclusive economy, said a White House statement. The tour will highlight the progress that has been made and the challenges that remain in the fight for economic opportunity for all Americans.
