FRANKFURT (Reuters) -Germany rail company Deutsche Bahn said on Saturday that train services in the centre of the country had been “massively disrupted”, citing an unspecified technical fault.
In a statement on its website, the rail operator said trains would not leave their stations in the affected area and it was urgently working to fix the problem.
Public broadcaster ARD’s news website Tagesschau.de earlier reported that Deutsche Bahn’s radio communications in the area around Frankfurt had broken down.
Deutsche Bahn would not provide further details when contacted by Reuters.
