BUENOS AIRES (Reuters) -Argentine President Javier Milei was removed by his security detail during a public event in Buenos Aires province on Wednesday after protesters threw objects at his car, according to Reuters witnesses.

The president was campaigning for the upcoming midterm election when protesters began throwing bottles and rocks.

Milei’s spokesperson Manuel Adorni said on X that there were no injuries.
