SHANGHAI (Reuters) – China said on Friday Japan’s plans for export controls on chips, among other things, could damage business relations.

The comments were made by China’s Ministry of Commerce (MofCom) in a statement on its official website.

MofCom added that it reserved the right to adopt measures to protect its legal rights.
