There is too much emphasis on detecting intelligent life from outside the solar system. The chances of establishing pattern-based communication are extremely remote. More time and material resources should be invested into in-situ exploration of planets and more importantly the moons of the gaseous plants within our solar system for extremophiles.

WoW signal probably was earth origin reflected back from space debris. If Very Large Array didnt detect it, that can be the only rational possibility.
