Official sources said India will continue working with UNSC to designate JeM chief Masood Azhar a terrorist, and also dismissed Pakistan's recent steps on terrorism as cosmetic.
This probably means Masood Azhar could be designated a global terrorist by the UN body, but the language of designation would include language acceptable to China.
Migration in North India isn’t just due to lack of development today. It was shaped by the evolution of labour markets under Sher Shah, Mughals, and the East India Company.
December oil imports from Russia may drop nearly 50%, but Indian buyers already shifting to non-designated Russian entities and opaque trading channels to keep Russian oil flowing.
New Delhi is interested in firming up bilateral agreements for increased trade, mobility, upgrade of Su-30 MKI fighters and the increased range of BrahMos supersonic missiles.
The India-South Africa series-defining fact is the catastrophic decline of Indian red ball cricket where a visiting team can mock us with the 'grovel' word.
Without exception, every Far Eastern nation has territorial disputes with China and while China has increased defense spending many fold in the last decade or so, all East Asian countries have reduced their defense budgets from 3% to less than 2%. Wouldn’t you be terrified if your enemy was spending 10 times more on armaments ? Strangely, it seems that East Asians are not so ‘terribly terrified’ of the rise of China, in fact they seem to be enjoying manifold increase in bilateral trade, despite the rhetoric on territorial disputes. So much for China’s ‘growing power in the Pacific’, where it can’t as yet compete with Naval Power of Japan, what to talk of US. The Real Problem is in our mindset of thinking with Western Logic.
China is a different ball game !!

Husain, you aren’t saying anything we don’t know, though we don’t write ultra smart books and articles like you do.
A more interesting article might have looked into the costs that would be the tipping point for china to change its stance. Can india do anything to increase costs to china beyond such a tipping point?
For China to support Pakistan diplomatically, supply it military hardware, assist it in its strategic programme – likely in violation of international law – is understandable. However, for the first time, China is investing substantial sums in Pakistan’s economy. CPEC is facing headwinds barely one third of the way to its target of $ 60 trillion, partly because the projects may be debt heavy and difficult to service but mainly because Pakistan’s economy is weak. Very different from the countries China engages with in ASEAN. As a well wishes, China could discuss with Pakistan what its support to terrorism is delivering as benefits and what the costs are. Although China has reaffirmed its support to Pakistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity post Balakot, it too must worry where incidents like Pulwama can take the subcontinent.

China is the only Country in the world that has branded Dalai Lama as a terrorist and considers Maulana Masoud Azhar as a religious leader.
