@Baba this happens when lawyers become judges through elevation instead of recruited judges by the public service commission of state. They don’t even know basics and climb to top posts in judiciary. Lawyers should not be allowed to become judges and public service commission should do appointments of judges. Govt also should not interfere. If collegium has judges recruited via PSC , they will obviously be more streamlined in their work then the lawyers.
There is a slang in Indian lawyer circles about winning a case… To win a case you First convince Judge and then confuse the Judge and if still not yielding corrupt the Judge…. This is harsh reality of Judiciary in the country. Few days back I came across a Additional Sessions Judge who is not able to read understand the contents of an affidavit in English
The party should have discarded him long back and allowed the law to take its own course. The CM job is not to sit in the chair but to ensure discipline in the party and keep his goodwill intact. If the CM is determined to finish dadagiri in his state, he must be aware that gundas exist in his party also and he should eliminate those one also
You guys may not be knowing, the PIL is just an ornamental thing… Only used to be worn by eminent lawyers to gain fame and stardom. Otherwise those real issues brought by concerned citizens by a mail or letter were thrown into dustbin by a registar level officer without any knowledge of the Honourable Justices of the Supreme Court who are warming chairs of judiciary.
This brave girl’s life hangs by a thread. The thought struck me – before watching Cut the Clutter, which explained the case would die if she did – that someone in the hospital might just slip her some substance that would end the story. New India is unfolding before our eyes.
I would like to know the name of the judge who was likely to be influenced by the rapist politician.
