Does anyone realize how laughable is the Mumbai Police press conference & TRP claim against Republic TV?
It won’t stand for even 5 min in court. Mumbai Police is making a fool of itself & the people of Maharashtra.
Point is simple that when you don’t like the person who has broken the status quo of media hiearchy and elitism then discredit them with typical headlines with a question mark??. As a very keen observer of media for last 20 years I can say nobody is pious than other. eg. NIRA radia case and under the cover people attached to the controversies. Another example is of elitist selective selection of the story which suits the narrative of their propaganda. Either is be Dr. Pranoy Roy , Shekhar Gupta( I like your story on foreign policy and China related issues) or any one they choose a narrative which suits. I don’t blame them but why blame others when other exercise their options. People are more observing nowadays. Elitism in full transparency is need of the hour. when you choose elective topics and close eyes on other then in my opinion it’s pseudo elitisms and that is very dangerous. The whole media should reflect and introspects within. Media is considered to be fourth pillar of democracy. There are many good journalist which don’t put the clutter and don’t put any bias they should come up front.
