Many offices in Telangana have asked their employees to work from home because of heavy rainfall, but it has become impossible due to the internet outages.
The new law, which the government has framed as a moral duty, forced major platforms like Dream11 & Zupee to shut operations, wiping out hundreds of crores in market capitalisation.
The Navy has always been on board with the theaterisation plan, but the Air Force feels splitting up air assets into several theatre commands is futile & will tie up critical systems.
Putin sees this as a victory. Europeans have decided to deal with Trump on his terms for the sake of the larger Western alliance. We look at the lessons for us in India.
Chronic patients were stuck for months in South indian medical centres like vellore and TMH Mumbai…they returned after shramik specials started….total 90 lakh people returned …80 deaths reported….2 trains had major diversions….railways war working with 33 percent staff strength….evacuation of a train at a station was taking 2 to 2.5 hours at a station as compared to 20 minutes….instead of appreciation the cheap politics far away from facts…anyways that is what is expected print
Dear writer. You had just given the data of 2 trains , what about the other trains whose numbers are in hundreds reached the destination with all help and cooperation for migrants. Debate must be for and against not just against. My suggestion to you is join communist party and write directy under them.
It is not as big mess as it is being made out. Definitely the railways (and flights) should not have been stopped during the first two weeks of lockdown. And after that only reserved compartments must have been allowed with strict social distancing of 5 passengers in a coupe. So we can say that extraordinary circumstances created the mess.
Ranting as usual. No article on how Bengal and Maharastra are mismanaging the crisis . Deaths are acceptable as long as it is caused by a ‘ secular government’. The only agenda of this columnist is anti BJP and anti Hindu arricles.
I appreciate your single minded focus in showing up all the wrong doings of the NDA government in particular and Hindutva in general. But it would help in your professional career or at least give it the veneer of being true to your profession if you turned the spotlight, however so ever fleetingly, on how the non NDA states are managing COVID. You may wish to start with Maharashtra or West Bengal, both being ruled by parties with impeccable secular credentials.
Nowhere in the world, these many people, have ever been transported without a few mix-ups. Yes care needs to be taken that these lapses don’t repeat. It is a very complicated job made more complicated by defiance of a few states to shift the blame on the central government. The number of lapses are just too few compared to the objective & task fulfilled. Mistakes shouldn’t
be repeated.
Stop being negative. We have had enough of it. Do not exaggerate. In these times of crisis we all must understand each other’s problems. Not bring in religion or politics.
Zainab here you go again having NO experience in any life but since your paycheck comes from Congress party you will pick on BJP and try to stick your theories.Being a Muslim does not help either.

Railways and Mr Piyush Girl have done the very nice job of running Shramik trains with short notice. Kudos to the team Railways.
ZAINAB’s head is in a mess. Better she stops wasting ThePrint media space and readers time. She is a full time anti-BJP headless creature.
