Narendra Modi is the 14th Prime Minister of India, holding office since May 2014. He is the first prime minister born after India’s independence and a prominent leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Prior to becoming the nation’s prime minister, Modi served as the Chief Minister of Gujarat from 2001 to 2014, where he gained national prominence. He represents the Varanasi constituency in Uttar Pradesh in the Lok Sabha, a seat he has held since 2014.
Narendra Modi joined the RSS, the BJP’s ideological parent, in the 1970s and joined the BJP in 1987. The following year he was chosen as the party’s general secretary for Gujarat. Modi took oath as Gujarat CM in 2001, after replacing Keshubhai Patel, who was held responsible for the government’s poor response to the Bhuj earthquake. Modi contested his first-ever election in 2002, shortly after which the Gujarat riots fueled controversy over his leadership. The Supreme Court in 2022 gave a clean chit to Modi and 63 others in a plea exploring a larger conspiracy behind the riots.
Known for his extensive foreign tours, Modi has been credited with raising India’s global profile. Events like “Howdy Modi” in the U.S. and his visits to countries such as Israel, Japan, and the UAE have underscored his foreign policy successes. He is said to have developed strong relations with top world leaders, including U.S. President Joe Biden, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
However, Modi’s leadership has been marked by several controversial statements, especially leading up to the 2024 elections. These include remarks on national security, religion, and political opposition, which have ignited debates.
The IAS BABUS, long accustomed to laziness, corruption and favouritism etc are not able to perform under the new government is obvious. First they never used to attend office regularly and do work. They can’t survive without corruption. When both the things changed, it has become very difficult. And when you expect results from them, it is next to impossible for them to perform. That’s why this transfers. But that doesn’t mean the political executive is perfect.
May be the govt. is trying to check corruption…..let,s wait and watch. Ofcourse it will be stable in its second term. Let the Hon,ble PM do his job….One day you will be proud to be an Indian under his able leadership. Jai hind.
It would be a good idea to transfer the ministers for the reasons behind transferring secretaries so often….
They’re so arrogant and do not deserve any respect from the common man.
Simply they are like aunt’s eating this nation by way minting money in crores.
It is not understood why Modi Government could not bring changes in the coterie of these senior beuorocracy.
Ultimate If Modi Government would be great sufferers in coming elections 2019 in the ✋ of this coterie.
I recently visited a senior bureaucrat for work, I had a five.minute meeting and I wasn’t even given a seat. I felt bad. These people think they are gods and most of them do not even know how spell technology. These people need to be put in their place.
They are ignorant and arrogant and they really don’t deserve this much respect. I forgot to add corrupt and indifferent.
Is this channel owned by a bureaucrat?? Why the hell do you wanna make these secretaries feel lile god?? These are corrupt bastards and less stable they are, the more stable this economy be !
Idiotic news channel
There are about seventy Secretaries to GoI, the same number as ministers, Cabinet as well as MoS. Working harmoniously together, they are the backbone of governance in Delhi. The talent crunch amongst ministers is forbidding. If the seniormost mandarins are being hobbled by inadequate tenures, results will not come.
Yes, it’s required, hence the IAS lobby pampered too much under long NDA stints do not sabotage the plans of new infant NDA ministry.Good riddance, if the officers toe the policy lines of new Government.
