A 65-year-old civil contractor died in Kashmir Wednesday following a militant attack on CRPF personnel. His family claims he was dragged out of his car and killed.
The encounters began at Pulwama and Shopian districts of Jammu and Kashmir Thursday, bringing the total militants killed in the valley this year to 100 so far.
CRPF and Jammu & Kashmir Police claim Mehrajuddin Shah was shot after he fled two security points, but his uncle, a police officer, has contested the claim.

Sad news! But IK and Pakistani propaganda has been exposed, grandfather and grandson were out and about, shows no restrictions or lockdown. This very news reported globally also exposes more lies of media blackout. The barbaric terrorists, who Pakistani media and leaders unsurprisingly call ‘heros’ just like they call ObL, dont even spare children and elderly. The brave local J&K police and CRPF rescued the child and finished the terrorists.
