What about Kannada speaking areas of Maharashtra – such as Solapur, Akkalkot, etc. Just because Kannadigas are quiet people, do not forget that Mysore Kingdom was one out only 4 Indian states that were “21-gun salute” states.
Even now, British Finance Minister has one-on-one directly with Karnataka leaders.
