Though he has used the word populism numerous times in his arguments but he has not defined this term. I don’t know what he has in his mind about populism when the democracy is all about populism. The constitution is itself a populist mandate otherwise it will be a dictatorship. Suppose tomorrow the people want to scrape the current constitution, what the judiciary will do. In fact nothing. In democracy Judiciary can never be above people. However, who has given judiciary the right to be as per their whims and fancies. Judiciary can get only those rights given to them by the people through the Constitution.
