Mission with India to search for water on moon is on track, launch in few years — Japan space agency

Currently, lander for mission is awaiting approval from Department of Space. ISRO is responsible for developing lander for mission, while JAXA is handling rover & launch vehicle.

With help from ISRO, Japan plans to take humans to the moon by 2020s
