The shoe-throwing was not due to his caste, but his rude anti-Hindu remarks. Just because he is Buddhist he has no right to mock Hindu gods. On the other hand, we have laws, that criminalize mocking Ambedkar who is considered as god and statues are built. Mr Gavai must respect all religions. His caste can’t be used for victim card, in this case.
