I studied in English medium and luckily I got a job with out much trouble. At the same time I had telugu as a subject, so I never had any trouble in reading and writing Telugu. Same with Hindi. Im happy that poor kids too get to study in English.. Govt should focus more on training the teachers and taking help from English speaking volunteers.
English medium may be suitable for technical education. You learn much better in your own language. Students will never develop love for language and literature and will be deprived of vast legacy of knowledge and wisdom in their own language.
