For that matter, tens of thousands of brave Burmese, in Rangoon and other cities protesting the military coup, handing roses to the soldiers, who dare not fire, lest the world fall upon their brittle junta like a ton of bricks. Democracy is not Utopia, but it is the best we have. Let us make a success of it.
